Deputy Dog

These are of Boaz on the lookout "guarding" the house.  He likes to sleep by the backdoor and bark at anything, ANY THING, that he sees  go on in the back yard. In the third pic I think he is barking at some birds that had landed in the back yard.  I just decided to catch it on film.   Boaz's growing has slowed down.  He had been gaining about 10 lbs per month until January. Altho' he has grown about an inch 26 1/2.  He nows weighs about 85lbs as we head into his 9th month next week.

These are from January.  Nydia is gonna kill me when she gets older for posting these pics of her in her bajamas, head scarf, and robe on the web.  But people always want to know how these big Shiloh dogs are with kids so....

It's Saturday

Just decided to take some pics outside in the back yard.  Felt kind of guilty for having Nydia pose for these pics with no coat.  It's actually only about 19 degrees outside! Boaz is now 7 months old.  He's about 25 1/2  inches tall and 70lbs. He's gaining about 9-10lbs per month. Which to me seems small for a Shiloh.  The vet says that this is perfect.  He's never seen an ISSR Shiloh before tho'!
